Fill Your Holiday Fuel Tank

Replenish before you Burn-out. 🔥Finding ways to refuel before you hit a wall is key. 🔑 The little things count. In this busy holiday season, it's especially important to find time to replenish yourself.

Here are 4 tips to help you replenish your fuel tank.

1) Prioritize self-care – getting enough

sleep, eating healthy, nutritious food, exercising, spending time with others, enjoying nature. How might you add a few of these into your schedule?

2) Shift your perspective - really think about your current mindset and assumptions. Which parts of your situation are genuinely fixed, and which can you change?

3) Reduce exposures to stressors – get clear on your own capacity and have a genuine conversation with coworkers, clients or family members to reset expectations. What ground rules might you

set for these relationships?

4) Seek out connections - reaching out to others is another way to reduce the likelihood of burnout. Close friends, mentors and coaches can provide guidance and connection. Who do you need to reach out to?

Replenishing means being proactive about these 4 things. Here are some quick, simple suggestions for the first one - self-care:

⏰Set an alarm to go to bed one hour earlier than usual

🥗 Prepare a healthy lunch the night before

🚶🏽‍♀️Park a little further from work and have a walk on the way in

😮‍💨 Take 5 minutes to quietly mediate before turning on your laptop

🖊️ Write in a journal for 5 minutes at the end of your day
