Replenish Before you Burn-out at Work.

🔥Finding ways to refuel before you hit a wall is key. 🔑 The little things count.

As Jacinta M. Jiménez, talks about in her book, The Burn-out Fix, there are 3 key steps to avoiding burning out.

1) Recognize the signs (exhaustion, cynicism, inefficacy)

2) Respond by identifying person-job mismatches

3) Replenish regularly by finding ways to psychologically detach

Replenishing means being proactive about finding leisure time. True leisure is taking the time to psychologically detach and truly savour the moment.

Here are some quick, simple suggestions on how to do that in 5 minutes or less:

🍵 Savour a cup of hot tea

💗 Gaze at a picture of a loved one

💃 Dance to your favourite song

🎵 Listen to your favourite music

😮‍💨 Close your eyes and breath deeply
